Florence examines everything from the University of Northern Alabama to Florence’s rich religious history to thriving downtown businesses like Trowbridge’s, but there is still more to be discovered. “I hope that Images of America: Florence will help to introduce people to the history of Florence and encourage them to dig deeper to learn more about this fascinating city. There are many stories still left to uncover,” the author said.
